How it works

Three steps for you. The registration on the maker site is our job.

1. Add your appliance

Every appliance has a type plate with the model number (E-Nr), a production number (FD) and a serial number (Z-Nr). Type them in or send a photo of the plate. We check the numbers against the maker catalogue before we go on.

2. Add the receipt and the dates

The purchase date and the delivery date decide which extra warranty you can still get and when the window closes. We show you every warranty the appliance can get and the deadline for each one. Keep the receipt: makers ask for it on every claim.

3. We register it in your name

You confirm that we may act for you and that you accept the terms of the maker. Our robot then fills the registration on the maker site. When the maker sends a confirmation code to your email, you type it in and we finish. You get the confirmation and the product ID.

What we need from you

  • Model, FD and serial numbers from the type plate
  • Purchase date and delivery date
  • A photo or PDF of the receipt
  • Your name and email, as the maker needs them
  • Your consent that we act for you and that you accept the maker terms
  • A few minutes online when the maker sends a confirmation code

What we never do

  • 🚫We never solve a human check or bypass a block on a maker site. We stop and hand the step to you.
  • 🚫We never accept marketing emails for you.
  • 🚫We never write your password or your confirmation code to a log.
  • 🚫We never report a registration as done without the confirmation of the maker.

Questions and answers

Why does registration matter at all?

The standard warranty, for example 2 years at many brands, needs no registration. Extra years, such as 10 years on a washing machine motor or 5 years on a promotion model, often need registration within a short window after purchase or delivery. Miss the window and you keep only the standard warranty.

Whose name is on the registration?

Yours. Makers give the warranty to the first end user, so we register the appliance to you, the buyer. We only act on your instruction.

What if the maker sends a code to my email?

Some makers confirm a new account with a 6-digit code. We tell you when the code is on its way. You type it into Warranty++ and we finish the registration.

Do you bypass security checks?

No. If a maker site shows a human check or blocks the registration, we stop and show you how to finish it yourself with all the data ready to copy.

What do I get at the end?

The confirmation of the maker, the product ID when the site gives one, and a reminder to keep the receipt. Makers ask for the receipt on every claim.
